New Aksys style software coming for MPC4000 and s5000

In order to make s56sys support for MPC4000, I am looking for volonteers having a MPC4000 and an Aksys up and running to do some tests for me. Please let me know if you are interested.

As a Mac user (like myself) he can‘t be of much help.
But a possible OSX version is at least considered (if enough demand shows up)

Says on the product page:
“ It should be easy to make it for MacOSX or Linux and I may consider it if people ask for it.”

So let’s hope they get it tested and done nicely and a Mac version will come

I do Mac , Windows and Linux in my Studio, so I'll definitely be reaching out, would be nice to get off of Windows XP in a Virtualbox - resource intensive for a control editor, thanks for the link!

I would love this for the intel Macs. I really like the ak.sys, but running a separate old macbook for it isn't the handiest thing and it has an annoying bug if you run 10.6.8. os. plus on an intel version it could possibly be paired with more modern sample editors, or if the developer wants, include sample editing.
I think the idea that ak.sys offered is still cool. to save a sample in sample editor and it is transferred into the 4000 instantly. no separate file transfer.
