MPC 4000 screen has no image.

hello forum members, I recently bought an mpc 4000, with the display damaged by overheating, I replaced it but I can't get images on my mpc, I know the system is working, because I can load programs and play it.
Has anyone been through this before? any tips on checking?

10 to 1 the cable to the display not seated/connected perfectly
