Setting the Mpc4k to 16 level pitch

Guys:

There is 16 level pitch on the mpc4k and I'm going to show you how.

Part one: Steps you need to do this each time you want to use, 16
level pitch.

First you need to create a keygroup program. Select a sample or
sound, to use in the keygroup program.

(Note) Do not work with the Drum Program.

Part two: Steps you only need to do once to use, 16 level pitch.

On the main page. Select the keygroup program at [Part:], to use in
the track. Press [PAD ASSIGN] and move the cursor to highlight
[DEFAULT] at the top of the pad assign page. You see [Global pad
assign: DEFAULT] change [DEFAULT] to [CHROMATIC}.

(NOTE) When the Global pad assign is set to default. The pitch level
of the sample is not in order. Selecting Chromatic, put pitch level
of the sample in order, like the older mpc machines.

(Note 2) You do not have to do these step again, until you upgrade
the mpc4k os. Upgrading the os, will place this option to default.

What's is so great about the mpc4k, over the older mpc model, is the
mpc4k offer 96 level pitch. Each pad bank holds 16 level pitch of the
sample.

Also you can assign the 16 level in the bank to any pad. Older
machine was 16 level, with no option to assign what pitch level to
any pad.
