When do you bang your best beats?

-> (!) With drugs, I dont mean heroine or crack or sumting. Just plain old ganja or boozz.

what up man? i chose sober. i smoke rarely and when i have its helped a lot! not with the mixing process but as far as creativity it helped!

i drink man and when i do i get realll chilled out (is that a drug?) so that helps too!

but im usually sober man.

I dunno, I've never made a beat drunk or high! Actually...I don't think I could make a beat...or at least a good one...drunk or high!

allways high its not positif, its just too much, it's gotten to the point I'm wasting time, its not a creatif aid anymore, just a cloudy mind, I'm tring to lay off,

the best work comes usually, when I'm inspierd by life "high on life" you know you've just meet the gir of you dreams, things are going smothly, my hopes are up even though I'm gona fok it up I can at least use thouse emotions to ride my creatif flow..

imo its all about state of mind, if your personal prefrence is and you feel your more creatif or as I like to look at it: more in touch with your expression when your high just make sure the sum of your work meets your standards, if its not and your traks are shit then prehaps you shouln't blaze one before you press power,, and vice versa

I've done great work sober and actually I think I'm much more productif that way, so idealy I should take care of all the paper work (slice&dice, set programs ect) sober, then when it comes to the music making invite miss J over, .. I'm all for her!, based on my life weed and music have been life support..you may differ

I make 95% of my beats sober, but it seems to go quicker and easier after I've had some alcohol.

blow shrubs and they can come out really quick..

oh but my best is probably when im sober...more focus but a little less creativity..

i did one tonight that i wouldn't of had the patience for when im high.. when smokin i do a nice 4 bars and start scratchin over it for a few and then got to bed...when im sober i stay up past my bedtime dialing in the drops/hook/verse/effects/whathavya..

Aiight.. So everybody is sober most of the time, obviously.. But when do you make your best beats? Sober or wasted? As this was my question..

somtimes when yer baked, anything sounds tight, which is good for practice n fun, but sometimes its a let down when u power up the next mornin and laugh at the wack ish you programmed.

but i loves to smoke and bounce my head around bangin on pads

sober. I dont get baked anymore because i get lazy, depressed, and not ambitious- and im already like that.

Ive got an internally built in chill pill. I dont need that shit.

but, when im drunk, i loose track of shit.

I go with like 1 or 2 beers, and then im good.
