Q-Link Faders to Midi out.

Hi All,

I've been trying to send out fader/knob movement to my sequencer...but I haven't found a way to do so. Now, I can't imagine that this isn't possible with the 4K so if anyone knows what to do to get it to work, yell in my direction please!!

Simple control change is sufficient.

Hit Q-link setup
Hit <send> (f2)
Choose fader or knob
Select Transmit <CRTR CHANGE>
Decide what control number you wan to transmit, Try 74, this usually sends Low Pass Filter info.

Its up to you to find out what control numbers do what for each keyboard.
Some common ones are:

74 - LPF
71 - Res
73 - Attack
75 - Decay EG
72 - Release
10 - Pan
1 - Mod Wheel

Some VSTis need to have the control # mapped to the specific function. For further info, read your manual,

Thanks a lot! I thought I was doing something wrong but as it turned out I routed my midi wrong internally. All works great now!
