to purge (delete unused ) programs:(mpc 4000- v.1.60)

-i go to the PROGRAM window
-hightlight the program i want to delete (dont need) from memory.
-click WINDOW button(orange button) and it gives options of what i want to do.
-i select DELETE
-then i select PURGE.(unused programs).

It deletes the programs in the PROGRAM list,

Now the problem is: it doesnt actually delete the "loaded" samples from the purged programs. when i look in the SAMPLE window, the sample are still there!!!

IS THERE A WAY I MISSED TO DELETE THE SAMPLES? or DO I HAVE TO RESTART MY MP EVERYTIME I RUN OUT OF SPACE?!?!?!

any feedback....hallat chya boy! 1

Here's how to purge unused samples:

1. Go to "Global" page

2. Select f2 (Memory)

3. Move cursor to "Operation"

4. Use Jog Wheel to select the "Operation" : "Purge Unused Samples"

5. Select F6 (do it)

Cheers,

Dave
