Why??

Bought my MPC like 2 dayz ago. And the problem is, it dident come with a CD-ROM drive and it had a 20GB hard drive rather than the 80 ive been reading about.

Why?
Did i get bumpt?

how much did you pay. i wouldnt trip ....you can get a cd burner for 100 and a 80 gig drive for a 100

make sure you get the power cables for the HDD and the CD-ROM with your unit. You will need these and they ain't standard. I got shorted one.

I always understood that the gear is shipped from Japan without HD or cdrom installed, but with the cable set.

The actual choice of drive/cdrom that is installed (if at all) is left to the AkaiPro representative in each country.
