Mpc 2300

Did anyone hear anything about akai dropping a 2300 series of the mpc?
I called pro sound and someone told me about a mpc 2300. I don't think that guy knew what he was talking about?

I think he was referring to the MPC2430.

Hmm. there's been rumours out for a while now (over a year) that Akai will be dropping
a new MPC at the Winter NAMM. Only a few weeks will tell :)


Whether it's going to be called the MPC 1500, MPC 2500, MPC 2300 or the MPC 2005
we don't no. Whether it's going to be released this year. We dont' konw.


Should no whether it's going to be released at NAMM within the next couple of weeks.


Either way, it probably wont' be replacing the MPC 4000, will probably go for the MPC 2000XL
market, is my guess. Good thing for friends of mine who want to move up, but don't want
to lug the MPC 4000 around, like I don't mind :)

man they jus came out with the 1k, and "re-released" the 2k with media memory, what is the deal, so much is rumored to come out at namm, i can't wait to see what will actually come out

i'd be interested to see what a new "mid-range" mpc would be like, what would be improved, what would still be left up to the 4k, how much better than the 1k
