im a fruityloops user who came across the MPC4K when somebody gave it to me.. lol

Aight basically, without reading any real documentation, and even before finding this site... in 3 hours time, i figured out how to create a sequence, how to seperate each sound onto different tracks when im recording, and how to put the shit into song mode.
Ive also already downloaded the ak.sys program, and i loveit, because i have a ton of sounds on my computer already, from where i had built a pretty extensive sound library because i use fruity.

There are a few things that are really bugging me, and hopefully somebody here can point me in the right direction.......

1. I have my editor from ak.sys... i picked Adobe Audition. The problem is, when i choose to edit a sample, when i save it after im done editing it, it still stays the same on the MPC.... whats the deal???

2. Can i get my MPC to read any of the hard drives on my computer?

3. I made my first full length beat using some samples i chopped up and threw on the MPC, i put all the instruments on different tracks, I made like 3 different sequces, and put it all into song mode so it plays exactly how i want it to.... now how can i save this to my computer with all of the files i will need to load it up in the future??? like saving the samples i used in the beat, plus the sequences, and the song file??

any help in these matters would be greatly appreciated guys.. thanx.

1. you have to drag the file back into your mpc and re-load it.
2. no, you have to drag whatever files you want INTO the mpc
3. press save and scroll to "save entire memory"

read the manual.
