the resample feature

Has anybody fooled around with this yet ? I did over the weekend. you can take a clean ass sample and dirty the hell out of it. You can have have it on some 8bit 8100khz or bump sumthing up to 24bit 96k hvent tried that yet though. anyone else like this feature

One thing to note about that feature is that it only *emulates* those lower bit resolutions:

the samples you end up with are still 16bit!
it's just that for the "8bit" ones, half the samples are set to zero,
and for the "12bit", a quarter of them are.

Of course, this sounds just the same as real 8bit or 12bit samples,
but it caught me out when I needed to have genuine 8bit ones.
(for use with a Sinclair ZX Spectrum emulator program, since you ask....!)
