mpc 4000 le

anyone know when music stores will get mpc 4000 le s??? I checked everywhere online all i can find is mpc 4000 pluses.

I think they stopped selling that version awhile ago. Smart move on their part, because for $1699 it was a steal.

well, i just bought the mpc4000le from musicfriend.

Although, i think its been in the warehouse for a minute.

Make sure when you get it, check the box for major "dents" if there is a big ol gouge or something, dont accept it from the ups guy.

when i first got mine, i was checking out all the windows, then i loaded up some sounds. And the pads would not play.....at first i thought it was me, and i just had a setting wrong, but then i realized that i was right. ANyways, i opened it up, the cable that connects the mother board and the pads was loose......as if it was jumbled out of place during shipping or in the warehouse.

Anyways, so just becareful with the mpc4000le's because i do think akai stopped selling them, so if someone has them, that means they have been sitting around for a minute and there could be potential problems.
