Screen redraw problems gone since hooking up an USB hd,,,

I had screen redraw problems with my mpc since i first bought it 8 months ago.
Ive hooked up a usb HD last week and my screen redraw problems are gone when i load my stuff from my usb HD.
When i load stuff from the internal hd, the screen redraw problems are back.

What is up with this???

Hmm.. I don't know myself. I would try Formatting the internal drive This is a weird problem
as once you've loaded it from the harddrive, then the harddrive is out of the picture, you're
just going from RAM their. Maybe some time of corruption?

I also did that unspin function and it didnt help either
