I'll have to check on MPC which is downstairs in the Studio, but from
what I remember, when in the Edit 1 page, you do see an option for Zone 1-4 but when changeing it there, it did as you described, and affected all
of the zones. But I think you can do what you want in the Zone page
itself. When in the Program pages, one of the soft keys should be
for Zones. And at the bottom of that screen (going from memory here),
you can change the amount of filter per zone. Don't remember
if you can have to select that each zone uses the same sample but
with different settings, or if you can just switch the settings with
just a sample in zone1.
