Ok here is the problem, HDD was set to no spin. As a sequence was playing, I wanted to look for another program on the HDD. I selected HDD, as the HDD began to spin the sequence began to stutter. I had to press stop several times fast to get it to stop. When I go back to the main menu I get a "MIDI Buffer Full!" message.
Does this happen to anyone else?

hy adrian

not really the same but imo similar and even worse ... your description reminds me of last week when i crashed my 4k ... i tried to upload a folder (containing multi, progs and samples) whilst my seq was still runnin (wasn't aware of it for a moment ...) ... well my 4k just fukked up right then ... strangeley my sequence continued playin whilst not one button reacted on the entire 4k - so my sequence was unstopable ... after 3 mins wait i restarted it again ...

basically its been my mistake coz i been uploading samples where i couldn't but hey ... no crash please ... can't the 4k just stop loadin the samples and inform us that the samples can't be loaded ... i thought its been like this on os 1.60 or 1.51?! ... dunno i m on 1.70

This seems to happen only when playing a sequence and then the HDD starts up. Even when I launch Ak.Sys as the sequence plays. Why this is I don't know, the sequence plays from memory not from HDD. Possibly a limitation of the processor speed?
