Trying to Upgrade to a CD-R....

I know i read something related to this question in another thread, i really just don't have time to search (I barely have time to type this thread). Anyhow I am trying to upgrade my 4kLE from a 100mb zip drive to a CD-R drive, and i was wondering if anyone can give me advice on which ones work best with the 4k, or could i just purchase any old generic one, and lastly will i need any accessories in addition for the hook-up?
