When I get off work I am going to try the loading instrucitons via usb. If I am successful and all of my complaints about the mpc4k are corrected as a result of the OS upgrade then I sticking with it. I never said that the mpc4k was not a sick machine I just sort of miss the ease of the 2kxl. Teh learning curve was nothing for me just dealing with the bugs has piss me off. If only akai could combine the two. That would be freakin amazing.

Thanks for the welcome back to the 2kxl. One day 4k forum will be just as strong.
