Real time sampling?

I want to record some accoustic guitar parts while a drum sequence is playing. I hear that you can sample,and it automatically syncs with my drum sequence. If this is true can someone please give me instructions. Thanks.

Hi, It's in the newbie bible under "DAW" recordings. If you go through that thread,
you'll find the topic on emulating a DAW and the instructions are in there...
