saving to usb zip or hardrive

i been using a zip drive to save my sample and seguences and i just burn a session to disc to test it out and i notice it was alot faster than saving to cd than zips i have the le and i t came with no hardrive so my question is how fast would it take for me to save beat to a hard drtive woul it be faster than to zip

ohh thats nice. i wouldov thought it be faster to zip.
ive got a omega 100. iama get an internal DVD and zip drive installed. Iam restricted as it is.
