Update in the works?

I'd like to see HD sample streaming and audio tracks among other things in the next OS.

Haven't heard from any Akai reps on this board in a while so I'm hoping Akai has not totally abandon any further developments on the 4K. All that is needed are a few added features and minor tweaks here and there and I can finally ditch Kontakt. I'm losing interest in my software DAW more and more these days. I get stuff done much quicker on the 4K not too mention I enjoy it more as well! I have Reason 3 but I still end up coming back to the 4K when inspiration strikes. :wink:

Has anybody heard anything?

lets hope Akai/Numark got their timing together..

akai abandoning the 4k should not even be in writing on the www ... very far from the truth... :roll:

I just saw a akai mpc ad in the new sound on sound magazine, they were advertising the 4000, 1000, and 2000, this is a good indication that they're back on track.
