One of each is correct, but do you really have to choose eiter adat OR analog? I thought it was adat AND analog in a one on one situation. Like with the main outs and the SPDIF output.
ADAT1 == analog1,
ADAT2 == analog2,
etc.

I don't own both.

??

yes I thought the adat and analouge outs mirrored eachother (thus both ON at the same time)

I'd like to now how the two adat returns come in, is there a way to monitor them during playback though the 4k or are they only selectable in as an adat input in Record mode?...thx!

soory for the confusion I meant that you are not going to get an extra 16 out with two boards.
