aksys help needs + installing os

Hi all, Ive tried to follow some of the links on this board to help myself, but all of them seem to go nowhere.
Ive bought a 2nd hand 4k and need some help.
Now, presumably to get a new OS on my akai I need to download the OSv7.1, the USB drivers for my mac + Aksys?
Im using a mac G4.
Can somebody post some links up that are right and actually work to help me on my way? Would also be nice to download an official installation guide for all of this if it exists. (aksys/installing a new os etc..)

the akai os only need the OS loader to be installed. Once you download that on akaipro.com, hook the computer to the usb plug on the back of the mpc. then, dowload OSv(x.x) and then just drag the bin file onto the mpc icon in the os loader... voilà

now download aksys and then just install it. when you open aksys, you should see all the files in the mpc..
