I just bought a MPC 4000(with ADAT board) off ebay. This is what I intend to do, most all the making of the beats are conducted on the MPC and I just need the soft-sequencer to mix and record vocals. So I am mainly looking at the audio sequencing part of the sequencer not too concerned with MIDI capabilities.
Here are two options : (1) MOTU 828 plus Cubase SX 3
or(2) Digi 002 Rack with PT LE
hypothetically money not being a factor. So I would need the sequencer pretty much to only track and mix.
I would like to get a recommendation on the better option, on how well the software does as far as it capabilities are related to audio recording.
