tempo change after song2sequence ???

Little problem here:
When I convert my song into a sequence, the sequence changes tempo after 8 bars or so.. I didnt do any tempo change. (in fact i never used it..) and when i set off tempo change in global it remains at normal temppo
Also there are no mutes and every program is on the same track, still some stuff is muted.
I run OS 1.71

am i the only one then?

so your 4k is doing its own tempo change & mute adjustments on your song huh?... prehaps it knows what its doing

sorry couln't resist Ikke, go back to song mode and make sure that the patterns that do your changeing of tempo in your song are for sure set on your desierd tempo, it could have been you where monitoring the Song while master tempo was ON .. just and idea,

the 3 ways to convert a seq to song

-Refer to 1st Seq:: sets all on/off track status to the 1seq in your song

-Enable mutes:: will convert all your data from your mute window seq to song

-Ignor off tracks:: Only converts data from tracks that are ON
(will not record your track mutes though)

what method did you use ?

I had this problem to and to get around it i had to do to the song 2 sequence process all over again.

I have found this out about the 4K. When doing different sequences that you envision making a song out of, use consectuive track numbers based on the previous sequence. For instance sequence one has 1-4 tracks, the next sequence should start a track 5. This way all your tracks will be seperated when you convert your sequences to song and then back to one sequence.

I hypothesisize in order to prevent tempo changes that you must set the tempo correctly at the sequence level prior to converting to a song, not at the master sequence level. Meaning each seq should have its own seq tempo, not one mas tempo.

Just a hypothesis.

i was using the first option: refers to 1st seq and the third

tempo change was on and seq tempo was 120bpm
