spreading a sample?

It's probably a newbie question but I couldn't find it.

How can I make one sample and spread it out onto the 16 pads all ranging in pitch? Do I have to edit the sample for each new note or can it be done automatically?

There's 2 methods.

You can add the Sample to a Keygroup and have that keygroup spread the 1 sample
across the board. (Read up on Keygroups in the Manual, which should sort you out)

Or you can hit the dedicated "16 levels" button and change velocity to note on that screen and hitting do it. (This feature was added after the manual and is in one of the addendums)
