question about pitch controls

how do u change the pitch, amplitude etc.......on some samples but not other ones?
i want to add some amplitude and pitch changes to the drums but not to some melodic samples. how do i do that? is it even possible?

theres a few ways... use different programs.. seperate programs for the different pitch and amplitude stuff..
OR
edit the program in the program window...
make sure on the EDIT 1 page your editing ONE not ALL or ADD, this way the changes you make will affect only the pad/sample instead of every pad in the same program...

i just switched from the 2000xl and
this is one of those differences i didn't know yet.

Also you can use the send page in Qlink to use pad control for individual drums hit the pad assign to pitch, volume, pan, release, attack, decay and on and on til the break of dawn.

Check www.akaipro.com for Version 1.33 Addendum it`s called Pad Control after Version 1.45 I think. It is very similar to After key on the 2XL.
