just wondering what drive model and speed of the cdr drive in the mpc4000 is..mine is the new teac 552e that akai is putting in the mpc4000's now..the only problem is it will only burn at x1...anyone else have this drive and getting higher speeds...tried 4 different mpc's exchanged mine at the store cause I thought it was broke..but all had the same drive and same speed...my friend has the teac 524e which akai used when the mpc4000 first came out will allow him to record as fast as x16...tech suppourt is trying to figure it out because their machines are x1 also
