i have a dilema.....im purchasing a roland fantom s88 and v synth....i thought i would be set with this combo but a friend of mine told me that i need the 4000.....the 4000 sounds like a sampling nightmare compared to the older models but also the sequencing king....i also know of sites that i can get all the drum kits i can dream of for the 4000

my only gripe is should i spend the money for the 4000 jus to sequence? i use the 2000xl now and i love the pads....the problem im having is that my beats dont hit hard enough....ive been told that the 4000 can help me out with that....

you can not trigger samples from the editing point on the 4000 but you can on the fantom s

plus i need to be able to make a whole beat and then burn it or upload it i need the advice of anyone that can help..

i make hip hop rnb reggae and drum n bass....

so should i jus buy the 4000 just to have the best sequencer of all time?

also which model of it should i get and how much will it be....

i need help!!!!!!!!

man...you really gonna buy a piece of equipment cuz ya friend tells you so? Will you be my friend  ?

Seriously though, I have the 4k and have owned the 2kxl. The 4000 sons it hard, and sounds better imo.

Don't buy it just to sequence though, seems like you'd be wastin ya dough. I dunno man, do what you want. RESEARCH
