Is there a pad mapping program for the 4000. The 2000 has one that works but the 4000 has more banks and I would like to take advantage of them.

Thanks for the response. I've used that one and it is more of a keyboard map, plus you have to be connected to the mpc. I was looking for something that could be used on a laptop away from the studio and was made more for the pads and not a keyboard map. Thanks again.

yeah i kno what you mean like with mpc editor when you had some down time you could make some programs and have them ready to go when work time comes.

yeah Aksys should run as standalone, without an usb connection. Mapping would go faster too because now you have to wait untill 1 sample is transferred via USB 1.1 (wich is very slow)

why don't we all send a e-mail to the guy who made the MPC Editor for the 2000xl and ask him to make one for the 4000? And we would pay for product.
