Is it possible to spread at sample at different intervals across the pads without making a program for each sample that I want to use? Can I take a individual sample out of a program and do this?

Thanks

16 levels only changes the velocity for each pad, not the pitch
on each pad? Or am I doing something wrong?

OS 1.5 will add this feature to the sixteen levels feature. Os 1.5 was supposed to have been released at the end of June and instead we get a maintenance release os 1.45.
OS 1.5
will have the 16 levels feature of the mpc 2000\
the drum mixer of the 2000
stream samples directly from Hd
and more......
till thn u have to continue to use it this way.
I'll be letting go of my mpc 4000 soon; 2195;
it's going to be painful but it has to be done. Nothing wrong with the machine just in the middle of re-arranging studio along with finances and things are really slow right now in NYC. So it's a temporary thing for now.

Peace

Just create a new program but make sure it's a KEYGROUP program. Then go to KGMIXER in Program mode and assign the sample you want layed out across the keyboard to KG 1 and thats it. I don't have the MPC4000 in front of me right now so I can't give you specifics but it's very easy.
