what's the simplest instructions sum1 can give me, on how I can put my BeatZ from da 4K on to a CD? PLEASE, what do I need, how much?

u gotta get os version 1.40 or 1.45 on your 4000 it says that in the startup screen. put in the cd hit save hit utility and save all memory to to c d

Hmmm, wouldn't that just dump the contents of the memory onto CD. I think dBd actually wanted a "playable" CD with his tunes on (correct?)
If that is the case, then the easiest way is to connect the MPC4ooo to either a CD-RW Device or your PC (via your soundcard).
The first path is obvious, just hook the XLR cables outputs for the 4ooo into the CD-RW's XLR Inputs, and away you go.
The second route requires a high quality Soundcard (Something like an M-Audio 2496, etc - A soundblaster is not gonna do any wonders for your audio quality). For this to work, it will probably the easier to hook the 1/4" ouputs from the 4ooo into the Inputs of your soundcard, depending on the card, you may need some adapters.
You will also need some recording sotware (Like SoundForge, WaveLab, etc) so you can record the signal from the MPC4ooo.
The final step is simply to burn that WAV file to CD-R. This is probably the best option, because you will be able to use the sound editor (WaveLab, Soundforge, etc) to edit the WAV file (Normalise it, remove a leading silence, etc).

i heard u would need the new OS version, do u?, Im usin a PC, What would any1 suggest is a good soundcard?, also I'm using sum old program/sound editor-Magix Music, does it really matter if its good or bad?

If you're trying to get your tracks on your PC in .WAV format to burn your CD you can do this by just sampling the main outputs on the MPC4k. In the RECORD mode just turn the Input Source to MAIN OUT and record whatever the MPC4k outputs. This will create a single .WAV file of your tracks.
From here you can clear your memory except for the new sample and then burn your memory to a CD. Of course the limit here is the amount of free RAM you have available which will deteremine how much recording time you have available. Just check the Time field to see if you have enough time avaialble.
Once inside the computer you need something to create an audio CD from your .WAV files. Windows XP can do it, or you might look at Roxio Easy CD Creator, or Nero has some software (I forget the name). It just might work.
