How can I get midi sysex from a hardware in my MPC4k?
I read something about it in this forum but nothing that can help me enough...
Is it possible? Because there is nothing in the manual about that as far as I know.
I know how to send sysex from my hardware (ms2000) but not how to receive it in the MPC.
Well I hope this is what I need...to be honest, I don't know what sysex really is but here is the point:
My MPC4k leads a sound modulator, another sampler, 2 Fx racks and "REASON". Everything's fine but in the "Sequence Edit" I want to know exactly what is the function of each "control change" but a lot are undefined because "exclusive" (is it right?) so I want my hardware to tell the MPC (and me) what these undefined controls are exactly in this page.
So if this is a "sysex" problem I need to know how to manage it and if it's another tricky thing, you would be kind to let me know...
