mpc 4000 swing set to 3000?

is there anyway to set the swing on tracks so that it mimics the 3000 roger linn type of groove?

Maybe give an Example of 3000 swing? I get good swing on my 4000 and haven't played with a 3000, so have nothing to compare it to...

the 3000 and the 60 have some sort of groove template that roger linn made i just wanted to know if the 4000 can imitate that.

I know exactly what you are talking about. It is very subtle. Most people

cant even tell the difference. To explain it best the swing percentage on

all mpc's are slightly different. I think the percentages start at 50% to

75% Im not a Roger Linn purist though. What I really miss is double time

on the 2000. Not as smooth as the 3000 but I like the choppiness of the

feel. No there isn't a 3000 template for swing for the 4000.

i've recorded some basic drum patterns in protools with both machines
with the same swing settings
no difference

....
