Exchange tips and tricks for the Akai MPC4000

I have the 4000 along with the yamaha aw4426 I want to go with working with the computer with recording cause that seems to the be the thing....... Any suggestions on a good program for beginners or do I need to stick with what I got :?: [/code]

Adobe Auditon
this will give you a start and is in a good price range.
and recording software starts from free 2 $800 aa is about $200
trust me this is all you will need.

you can also download a variety of demo recording programs( sonar, cubas sx, etc. ). me, myself I use sonar 3 producers edition, and it does everything that you would want, it's also easy to learn, has excellent plug ins.

Is "adobe audition" and "sonar 3" workin for MAC OS X(panther)?
