I have downloaded the usb driver and the akai pro software, but I can't get my mpc 4000 to recongnize the file on my laptop, I am running windows xp. what am i doing wrong???? I also unzipped the folded, what am i doing wrong.......how do i install it..........

I don't own a 4000, but I believe there's an additional download for using the 4000 with ak.Sys.

Check the akaipro site again, and be sure you're following ALL the steps.
