CD-ROM Freeze Up

Has anyone had the problem of the CD-ROM freezing up and will not eject. The only way you can eject it at times, is to go to the sampling fuction and pushing the eject fuction key?

Every once in a while the Plextor CD ROM drive on my MPCs freezes up. The remedy is to either power cycle the MPC or insert a paper clip in the drive eject hole. The freezes are apparently another OS bug. I avoid using the CD drive as much as possible.

yah..I think that's just how the os is...like it locks the deck if you're not in a certain mode
