Ive read the manual somewhat of the MPC4K, but i couldnt find anything about Equalising. How does the equalising works,,, can you equalise a single sample or does the eq go via the effect routing?? (if so that sucks)

Also, the compressor limiter,,, is it possible to do sidechaining, for instance sidechaing the kickdrum with the bassline???

thanx in advance

mpc4k not to strong on the EQ side

I faithfully use ak.sys to move it to a better eq-haven

yhea you can resample induvidual sounds through the eq/compression FX on the 4k but you can find better eq´s, and this meathod is kind of akward and time consuming, get a output expesion it becomes a nessesity eventually, good sounding mixer and some fat channel strips and resample or like IcebergSlim said use plugins, the 4k may be in a leuge of it´s own but the empasish is not on eq in the fx section :)
