THE TRIM IN SAMPLE MODE

EVER SINCE AFTER VERSION 1.20 I HAVEN'T BEEN ABLE TO TRIM MY SAMPLES THE WAY I WANT. THE MARKERS ON THE TRIM SCREEN GET STUCK AND WON'T MOVE AND CAN'T GET PLACED WHERE U WANT THEM LIKE UR SUPPOSE TO BE ABLE TO. IS ANYONE ELSE HAVING THIS PROBLEM???

This happens when the sample is not cut correctly. To overcome this, go into the regions function, and open up the region. For example: When the markers become "stuck" go into regions function (F3) and place cursor on "regions start field:" turn dial to left until the black highlighter stops. Then go to "End Field:" and turn the dial right until the black highlighter stops. Go back to Trim page, now you should be able to move the marker. Do this everytime it sticks.

THAT WAS THE FIRST THING I TRIED AND IT STILL IS MESSED UP. I CAN DO WHAT U SAY TO DO IN THE REGION FIELD BUT WHEN I GO BACK TO THE TRIM PAGE AND MOVE THE CURSORS THEY STILL STICK THEN I WILL GO BACK TO THE REGION FIELD AND SEE THAT THE CURSOR HAS MOVED THERE AS WELL. IT DIDN'T DO NONE OF THIS IN VERSION 1.20. IT WORKED LIKE A CHARM. I WOULD JUST GO BACK TO VERSION 1.20, BUT THEN I WOULD LOSE FEATURES IN VERSION 1.45 THAT I'VE STARTED TO USE. I'M STUCK BETWEEN A ROCK AND A HARD PLACE OVER HERE....

There is something your doing totally wrong. Because when it sticks for me this is what I do, and it works every time. I am using OS1.45

yah normally if you cut too much in trim and then try to move it back out, you gotta go to region and move IT back out first......so if you cut too much, just go to region in end type in 9999999 and it will default to the end, go back to trima nd it will be where it was stuck, but will now move...i'm pretty sure same goes for start..

yeah I use to do the 999999 trick as well on the 2000. I also have had this problem when cutting samples. I finally figured out to go to the region page
