anymore news on the mv8000? not much review online anywhere

If you've noticed the Audio and Production sites and Mags aren't too excited bout this Roland unit........if they were there'd be a whole world of hype and reviews spewing already......its been out for around a month now!!

You have posted a lot of misinformation. Stop lying to everyone for crying out loud.

Your last post was filled with nonsense that made it very obvious to an actual MV owner you spent all of 2 minutes with the unit. To even suggest this is a techno box is absurd. There are NO techno samples on the MV. Roland designed it with Hip Hop in mind.

It takes months for magazines to review Roland gear. This shows how little you know about their products, not problems with the MV. Months passed before the V-Synth and Fantom-S were reviewed. Those synths have become enormously popular, earning wide acclaim from many professionals.

I was only F--king wit ya.....MPC_PRODUCER........it is a decent unit..just not up to MPC par that's all......I'll admit that timestretch thing is cool!!!

yes but it isnt elastic like roland made on the Variphrase 9000 unit...Very cool features but again a toy with its limited polyphony, and no HD in it.......Roland always falls short in important categories... its like their focal point is odds n ends like FX and that Virtual Theremin feature they put on their synths (I forget what its called you Raise n lower your hand over it)....Anyway they fall short in other things like Sequencing too which is most important...not to mention user friendliness..have u ever tried a V Synth...Annoying piece of crap..with Cool FX and filters right?? LOL...I love the XV5080 a very good sounding module though a bit pricey and their expansions cards sound great........I can honestly tell all of you Right now if I wasn't into this MPC sequencing, and the new Z96 sampler in my 4k plus 4 midi outs so much I'd go get a the new Motif ES with an MPC pad unit and call it a day....I have the classic Motif which i bought two years ago and i love it to death......If they made the Motif ES with a 32+ track sequencer, 4 midi outs and 2 midi ins and a more intense sampler...I'd forget bout Akai all together...That's how tight the sequencing is on the Motif.....the fact you can loop individual tracks is a godsend I wish Akai would follow suit here this is a simple feature to add.......you know I'd probably keep my 4000 anyway cuz i love looking at the beast....plus my production is a bit different when using it.....more Raw hip hop.....where i find myself producing more commercial tracks in the motif.....maybe its me maybe its that MPC magic??????????????????
