I am a new member and a new user of the 4k. I use a Mac Dual 800 G4 with Protools and Digital Performer on OSX Panther, and I am very experienced on this system. The MPC 4000 is a bit of a mystery to me.
I have been given a set of files in folders named multis, programs, samples, sequences, to load and run in the MPC. They have been used previously in a live show with no problems, but in a different machine.
I can load all elements, but cannot get them to allocate programs and multis correctly. There is one sequence file that loads all sequences, 40 of them. Only the first seq has the files allocated correctly.
I've read the manual extensively but cannot get the files to operate as they should.
Hoping someone can assist me.
