loop mode

Hey proud 4k owners,how can i set the start/end of a loop to be fixed to the tempo i want? In the 2000xl has the "fix" option.Thanks

It's crazy,man.I'm always checking up all the topics in every room and when i know sth for sure,i respond.I know that all of us (mpc users in this forum)lovin' our machines and we tryin' to make better music everyday for commercial or non-commercial use.That's why i'm co-operative.

I think the function you want (and are refering to in the 2Kxl) is the BPM screen.

That shows up on the 4k when you are in "region" mode of the sample section.

And by opening the bpm screen you can set the bpm to match either the region or loop.
Try it out, I think that's what you need -

BeBop thanks for your help,but it's not exactly what i want.I know this function,but all i want to do is: to mark a region that i want as a loop,then checkin' the bpm to see if it's the tempo i want and then i could scroll the start/end loop points for finding the exact loop without changing the length (for not changing the bpm).Thanks anyway.

BTW: I've spent many hours for that but i can't find anything (i've chacked the manual too).WTF???!!

I mean, you can't "scroll" to find the right BPM in a loop if you're working with down beats and such...you need you beats to line up first...are you talkin' about a stretch then maybe??

Unfortunately,no.Maybe I don't explain right but all i want is a "locked" loop region.Once again it's the FIX function on the mpc2kxl,if this helps. Let it go,I'll found out what's goin' on,what the hell??!! Thanks,once again.
