CD RW! SCSI or ATAPI?

Damn! Yesterday a friend of mine past by (cause he used to know that I was searching for a damn expensive scsi drive!) with an scsi drive from an older apple he is not using anymore! All right: I’ll take it! Lets built it in right now! open the mpc and what do we see? There is no scsi connection in there! Just a normal one (I think it should be atapi!) Does that mean I can just buy any normal atapi drive? I am just interested in INTERNAL drives! If anyone knows for sure which models work fine with the mpc, please help! (month ago on another fourm I was suggested to get only scsi drives!!!)

Got to be atapi.I got a Plexwriter 48/24/48 fitted in mine 4k,works perfectly.

The drive only writes @ x4 speed so a dirt cheap bog basic ide cdrw would do wouldnt it?

Saying that I have an acer (£40) x16 cdrw installed in mine and it works fine.
