Do any of you 4K owners out there have some practical tips or instructions for using the filters in your programs. It's only recently I discovered the filters and I would like to use them but have never done so before.

How many of you are using your filters, for what and how do you use them. Seems like an elementary topic but thanks in advance.

Peace.

assign a q link fader to ur filter cutoff and play. or use a triple filter and assign q link to 3 cutoffs and resonance.....fun. :D

Thanks for the reply, fb. Perhaps you could do me a small favor with a brief walkthrough. Bear in mind, I've never used them before and the reference manual does not help much.

Respect.

The tutorial was great and from it I learned how the Q-Link works. Experimenting, I am able to work the filters using the Q-Link knobs.

I'm curious as to which parameters you choose to control as part of your normal filtering activitiesI control CUTOFF, RESONANCE, AMPLITUDE, PITCH, LFO 1 DEPTH, and LFO 2 DEPTH.

What are the parameters you all normally use?

Respect, seen..

Peace.

shadow!
... i think there ain't not really a normal usin of filters! try to mess around with all of them bit and u'll see what u like or to which settings your comin back more often! don't know how many filter types there are (maybe 20) they are all useful! on one sound you'll like one filter on another one another!
some advice: change the filter tipes in program mode when usin cutoff, resonance, ... via q-link! in this way u learn how the different filters work!
also try the triple filters! first assign them in program mode (also change the order of them) and then assign tf cutoff 1, tf resonance 1, ... to your q-link!
just experiment and have fun with em
