help make me famous

if i put all of the tracks i want out of a beat in one sequence, is there a way to bring certain things in and certain things out in order to make a song. In one sequence i have made 8 tracks and want to vary when each comes in on the beat, but the manual only tells you how to make a song by pieceing together multiple sequences. any help would be appreciated

you can also do un/mute automatinon!, just turn the 8bar loop into 800 bars or something'.. go into mute and record.. luvly

thank you for responding but i am still confused. i assume you are talking about the track mute screen. questions which are still puzzling me
1. if i already have everything in a four bar loop, how do i make it "800" without punching it all back in.
2. how do you record once you are in the track mute screen.

just go flowers do it !!!! DAMN!!!!

Look first go to the track mute page.
then hit play and record. once its going you can hit the pad you want on mute and hit it again when you want it un muted. and in the seq everytime it comes to that point where you hit the mute it will mute automatically.

To turn your 8 bars into 80 bars just cursor over the bars section in the main page and hit window and in there you will be able to select a choice of things you can do to the bars . choose the one that allows you to duplicate the bars (8 bars x 10 copies = 80 bars) hope this helps you

If you put all the tracks you want to use in one sequence you can perform mutes also by muting the individual tracks.. say you got kick on track 1 and snare on track 2 and hats on track 3 and a bassline on track 4 and horns on track 5 and guitars on track six, you can mute and unmute tracks temporarily while in the same sequence.
