4k and usb stick!

i wonder wether it is possible to upload stuff from a usb stick on the mpc! actually i tried today at the usb stick at the front site! the manual says it is either for a keyboard or for a usb drive! well now i know, that doesn't work! but maybe it works at the back! that's the one supposed to connect to a pc & aksys! i don't have the right connection cable here, but that wouldn't be an issue! so my quest: has anyone ever tried that and knows whether it is possible? would just be nice!
and somethin else! i want to get a usb keyboard, cause non of my songs, tracks, ... gets names! that should be connected at the front site! actually i try to get a cheap one with no xtra functions, cause its just for tipin! anythin to take care about that or is anyone workin?

Hey Alto,
I've herd of people using old style apple usb keyboards and working fine,and have read threds elsewere about people successfully using usb sticks so maybe try another model?
Ive used a external usb hard drive fed in the front of my 4000 with no glicthes just a tad slower at loading samples,,,,, peace is in the beats .......
