i am currently trying to record a live piano performance from triton onto a sequence track on the mpc.both midi and line cables are connected but it seems the piano can only be heard when in sample record mode on mpc but i want it to be on sequence record mode.is this possible?

record it first as midi, then go into record mode, select line in, start sampling and hit play (the mpc will play the piano sequenece while sampling the audio in record mode ..vanilla

dude if you don't know what a mixer is and you are asking questions like this, you really shouln't be working on something like the 4k.. not trying to be an azhole (I don't really have a choice) but you have to get your zhit together, go to school, study midi/audio then come back, not trying to mean kid but these quiestion do not belong here..

I dont think you need to be sampling into the mpc i think you should be using midi in and out
