getting started....

Hey guys, i have my MPC4k up at school now and due to space all i have is my 4k, monitors and my laptop, i just to the MPC and right now i can write simple drum patterns useing sample sounds loaded from my computer, i was wondering if anyone has any tutorials or sites i can check out to kinda take the next step and start turning the simple drum loops into whole songs, im especially having troubble writing melodys and bass lines

get the sounds and bang the pads also you might want to cop a cheap midi controller so u can play your melodies easier
