When I boot my mpc4000 my disk says "Disk: NO DRIVE" when it should be saying HD Internal. Why is this happening and how can i fix this problem??? I have no way to save samples that i have due to this or play samples from my CD ROM Drive. THANKS [/b]

Could be your HDD quit working, or the connction is loose. Another thing I ran into quite a few times is the MPC will not recognise the drive for some strange reason. Reintalling the OS would fix it.

Connect your MPC to a PC via USB. All the info you need should be on the AKAI web site.
