play sample until the end once you hit the pad

i wanted to know how to play sample until the end once you hit the pad without holdin the pad down. right now my mpc only plays a sample if im holding the pad down. does any one kno how to do this, is there a setting somewhere or something to change this.

set it to "one shot" in the sample edit screen i think
