Sync on mtc in - Not happenin

expecting the 4k to sync to a mtc sig from a 4416, nothing yet, I'm running 1.30.

also, has any one any reflections on plugging a laptop straight into the 4k to load new software via usb. my bruv on the case with these things (usually) said i could possibly damage both units because of small current buildup in the usb cable! True???[/color]

Try making the MPC4k the slave, and use Midi Beat Clock instead....works great.
1. go to the main page
2. move icon over to sync
3. hit orange window button
4. SYNC IN-----mode=midi clock.....frame rate=30
5. close the page
6. turn sync on

BTW, you have to set your master source to send Midi Beat Clock to the MPC4000
