Try this:

Load a perfect 128BPM 2 bars looped drum sample.
Divide this sample in 16 equals regions.
Slice this sample: generate program and sequence, with End Margin=0.
On Main screen, play sequence at sample's speed (128BPM). Loop is not perfect, there is a "silence" at the end...

If you slice same sample with ReCycle and play exported program and sequence on MPC4000, loop is good...

There is only one case where Slice Sample work fine: with 120BPM sample, like MPC4000's default sequencer speed.

I think it lacks "beat" and "bar" parameters in Slice Sample for make good sequence.

After search, I find loop's BPM parameter in TRIM/LOOP window:

The "END" field of the TRIM section can be changed to "BPM" with Jog, and loop's BPM can be set.

After set loop's BPM, Slice Sample generate good sync sequence !!! :D

Try this set your t/c to off in the main page and then slice sample, generate program and sequence with End margin=0.

One other thing if you are slicing a drum loop you need to slice smaller like into 1/16ths so divide your 2 bars 32 equal regions to catch the hi-hats in your loop.

My 2 cents.
